Game drives

The game drives are without a doubt the fundamental reason of any travel to Africa. It may last from a few hours to a full day excursion with a picnic lunch in the bush.

Transfers between parks being by plane, all the game drives are in special full open safari vehicles (not only an open roof), with driver/guide or driver and guide knowing particularly well their park and its wildlife (and avifauna).

The game drives are most of the time early morning and late afternoon, which maximizes the chances to meet the animals when they are active. A full day game drive however allows to reach some remote areas, sheltering sometimes some specific species.
