Tandala Tented Camp

ituated on the edge of Ruaha National Park, Tandala Tented Camp offers simplicity as well as all the comfort you can expect in the bush.

The camp is small with the ten tents overlooking the small Mdweka Sand River.

The welcome is warm and the cuisine uses the local products.

Some guests suggested renaming the camp “Elephant Tented Camp”. Feel free to come and discover why.

Many animals frequent this location: kudus (who gave their Swahili name to the camp: Tandala) as well as elephants or even the lions…

Mwagusi Safari Camp

wagusi Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp in the heart of the Ruaha National Park, managed by its owner, Chris Fox, who was born and has grown up in the region.

Chris's huge knowledge about the wildlife and the flora of the park, places its safaris among the best ones of Tanzania.

Mdonya Old River

ocated in the western part of Ruaha National Park, Mdonya Old River is a small but nice lodge. Its ten tents, simple and comfortable, are spread in the shadow of wide sycamores and acacias.
Simplicity is the key here in order for you to feel completely absorbed by the bush and surrounding wildlife.

A hurricane lamp and candles provide lighting with solar power providing a plentiful supply of hot water.

Many animals frequent the camp. As a safety precaution guests are escorted around the camp by guards when dangerous animals are in the vicinity and at night.

Jongomero Camp

f privacy and luxury are at the top of your list, then Jongomero Camp is probably the one for you in Ruaha.

Accommodation at Jongomero comprises eight large and well-appointed tents under enormous thatched roofs that also encompass a spacious private veranda.

The dining and living areas are both original and very comfortable offering a great vantage to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush that surrounds the camp!

There's a swimming pool which is small and designed to look rather like a rock pool. It sits high up on the bank of the sand river, so you can keep an eye on comings and goings whilst cooling off.
